The handles of the SYS DC can be replaced in case they are broken or if you wish to install rack mounting brackets (available from TOPTICA).
To start, the side panels of the supply fram have to be pried open (e.g. with a screw driver).
Afterwards a total of 8 Torx screws (Torx 20) have to be removed for bottom and top cover.
They can then be pried off just like the side panels. Do not worry about the feet: they are screwed to the bottom plate only, not to the frame, so they will come off together with the bottom plate. You now have access to the Torx 20 screws that keep the handles.
The power consumption of a DC rack is the same for all racks (except the high power double stage rack).
For a TA (pro) it is 60-80W, for a DL (pro) 40-60 W.
Q:Can I reuse old modules from the 100 series with my new supply rack?
A: Yes, as long as the modules were produced after 1.1.1999.
